Clones to play Duke in Men's Basketball
AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has added another marquee opponent to its 2009-10 men’s basketball schedule with the addition of national power Duke on Jan. 6, 2010 in Chicago’s United Center, according to Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

ISU Women's Basketball has high attendance figures
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women’s basketball team’s third-place national attendance ranking in 2008-09 is the Cyclones’ top ranking in school history. The NCAA released official attendance rankings this week and the only teams to rank ahead of ISU were perennial powers Tennessee and Connecticut.

Clones add Wrestling Assistants
AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State wrestling coach Kevin Jackson has
added Chris Bono and Yero (yah-ROO) Washington to his staff as
assistants.
Bono, an NCAA champion for the Cyclones in 1996, had been the
head coach at Tennessee-Chattanooga for the past three seasons.
Bono was an assistant coach at Iowa State from 1997-2005 and will
work with middle-weight wrestlers.
Washington was a two-time All-American at Fresno State and the
head assistant coach at Columbia from 2004-07.

Seven Cyclones Headed for NCAA Track Meet
AMES, Iowa – Iowa State’s track and field team will take seven individuals to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships June 10-13 in Fayetteville, Ark. The group includes defending NCAA 10,000-meter champion Lisa Koll and returning 3,000-meter steeplechase All-American Hilary Bor.
